Living in the red

What a week.

The older I get, the less I understand about people. Mediocrity seems to win out every time. It's a safe zone. It's like how the speedometer in your car has a color scheme associated with the speed you're traveling, and oh boy, watch out if you hit red. Though the machine is supposedly made to go that fast. And why even label that area if it's not an option? And if you CAN go that fast, safely, why wouldn't you? Why always travel within a safe 45 miles per hour? Oh. Because if you're going that fast, you're passing everyone else. What a lonely place that is, ahead of the pack.
